The Saudi Ministry of Tourism says visas are issued electronically within 48 hours of purchase. They are single-entry documents valid for three months, with stays of 2 to 88 days.

The starting price is SR4,000 per adult for the first two days, plus SR1,000 for each extra day. Only Reserval and Almosafer are accredited to sell it so far.

Each booking must include a confirmed round-trip flight and a ministry-licensed hotel with at least a 4-star rating. The visa can still be used across the kingdom, including Makkah and Madinah for independent Umrah, but the bundle itself does not include dedicated Umrah services or special holy-city lodging. The process sits inside one transaction.

The ministry ties the pilot to Vision 2030

Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb cast the launch as part of the kingdom's wider tourism push.

"As Saudi’s tourism sector continues to grow at pace, Package Visa reflects our commitment to making travel to Saudi more seamless for visitors. By integrating visa issuance with travel bookings, we are simplifying the visitor journey and creating a more connected travel experience."

The ministry framed the pilot inside Saudi Vision 2030.
