(MUMBAI, INDIA) — BLS International began accepting Belarus visa appointments in Mumbai from April 24, 2026, opening a new Belarus visa processing point in the city for applicants submitting through its Nariman Point center.

The company said the Mumbai center is now operational for submissions, with applications routed through BLS International while final decisions remain with the Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Mumbai.

The opening gives Belarus visa applicants in western India a dedicated submission point at BLS International Services Ltd., Unit No. G1-G8, Ground Floor, Dalamal Towers, 211 Nariman Point, Mumbai 400021. The center accepts submissions from 09:00 to 14:00 hrs, Monday to Friday, except consular and national holidays.

Passport collection runs later in the day, from 16:00 to 17:00 hrs, also Monday to Friday. Applicants can contact the Mumbai center by phone at 0120-6917504 or by email at [email protected] and [email protected].

Appointments must be booked online through the BLS International website under the Belarus Visa section. After that, applicants submit their files at the Mumbai center, where BLS handles the front-end process for the consulate.

BLS does not decide whether a visa is granted. The Consulate General of the Republic of Belarus in Mumbai makes that decision, and the company’s role is limited to facilitating the process and receiving documents.

Applicants can also track a file through the BLS website by using a passport number and reference number. That creates a standard path from booking to submission to status checks, with collection scheduled separately after processing.

Processing times start at 5 working days for a normal Belarus visa application. An urgent option is listed at 2 working days, subject to consulate approval.

The basic consular fee is 60 EUR for normal processing and 120 EUR for urgent processing. Children under 14 are listed as Gratis, and BLS adds a service fee of 20 EUR.

Consular fees are to be confirmed on the Belarus foreign ministry site. That matters because the listed BLS service fee sits alongside the consular charge rather than replacing it.

The required documents begin with a completed visa application form in Belarusian, Russian, or English. The form must be signed personally, or by a legal representative in the case of minors.

Applicants also need a passport-size photograph measuring 3.5 x 4.5 cm with a white background. The passport itself must be submitted in original form, with 2 blank pages, along with a photocopy of the personal data page.

Medical insurance valid for the stay in Belarus is also required, as is proof that the consular fee has been paid. Those are common requirements across private, tourist and transit visa categories listed for the Mumbai center.

Category-specific documents vary by visa type. Applicants may need flight tickets, bank statements for the last 3 months, stamped or sealed for private visa applications, or transit documents.

Consular officers can ask for additional documents beyond the standard checklist. BLS said incomplete applications are not accepted, a rule that places the burden on applicants to arrive with a complete file before a submission slot opens.

That can affect timing even when the formal processing window is short. A file missing a photograph, insurance document, passport copy or payment proof will not enter the queue, despite the published 5 working days and 2 working days processing timelines.

The launch also gives applicants a fixed point of contact in Mumbai, where the BLS International center, the published timetable and the listed fees now form the first step in the Belarus visa process from the city.
