- Alaska Airlines will launch two nonstop routes from Portland connecting to Wenatchee and Tampa.
- The Wenatchee service begins October third and will operate daily throughout the entire year.
- Portland’s first-ever daily connection to Tampa starts late twenty twenty-six as a seasonal route.
Alaska Airlines is adding two nonstop routes from Portland, expanding its network with service to Wenatchee, Washington, and Tampa, Florida.
The Portland-Wenatchee route begins October 3, 2026 and will operate daily year-round on Horizon Air’s Embraer 175. The Portland-Tampa route launches in late 2026 and is scheduled to run through March 28, 2027 with daily service.
The Wenatchee flight gives central Washington travelers a second Alaska destination and a direct link into Portland’s larger network. From Portland, passengers from Wenatchee will have access to more than 65 nonstop destinations, including hubs beyond Seattle.
The route adds another one-stop option across Alaska’s system for travelers in central Washington.
Tampa’s new service gives Portland a direct connection to Florida and marks Tampa’s first-ever daily service to Portland. The route is part of Alaska Airlines’ wider 2026 expansion across California, Washington, Hawaii, and Europe.
These two additions are part of Alaska Airlines’ seven new nonstop routes announced for 2026. Together, they extend Portland’s role as a connecting point for both regional travelers in Washington and longer-haul travelers headed to the East Coast.
For travelers planning ahead, the dates matter. Wenatchee service starts on October 3, 2026, while Tampa service begins sometime in late 2026 and continues through March 28, 2027. The Wenatchee flight will be the more permanent of the two, operating year-round, while the Tampa route is scheduled as a limited run into spring 2027.
